What You Need to Know About God’s Love and Plan for You
If you’re new to faith, unfamiliar with the Bible, or just starting to explore who God is—welcome. You're not alone, and you’re not behind. This is a safe place to ask questions, wrestle with doubts, and begin discovering the depth of God’s love for you.
-
The Good News—often called the "Gospel"—is this:
You are deeply loved by the God who created you. He sees you, knows you, and desires a relationship with you. Despite the brokenness and pain in the world—and in each of our lives—God made a way for healing, hope, and a forever kind of peace through His Son, Jesus Christ.
That’s the heart of the Gospel. It’s not about rules or religion. It’s about restoration—a personal relationship with a living, loving God.
-
We live in a world that’s often marked by chaos, hurt, disappointment, and confusion. Each of us, in our own way, has felt the weight of trying to do life on our own—carrying guilt, shame, fear, or just an aching sense that something is missing. The Bible calls this brokenness sin—not just bad behavior, but a separation from God that leaves us spiritually empty.
But God didn’t leave us in that brokenness. He had a plan.
-
God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth—not to condemn us, but to save us. Jesus lived a perfect life—showing kindness to the outcast, healing the hurting, and offering truth wrapped in compassion. Then He did something radical: He willingly gave His life on the cross, paying the price for all our sin and brokenness. And three days later, He rose from the dead—defeating death and making a way for us to be restored to God.
This isn’t just a story. It’s a rescue mission—one that includes you.
-
It means you don’t have to earn God’s love—you already have it.
It means you’re not too far gone—Jesus meets you exactly where you are.
It means your past doesn’t define you—God offers you a new beginning.Through Jesus, you are offered:
Forgiveness for every mistake and regret
Peace in the middle of anxiety, fear, or chaos
Purpose beyond what this world can offer
Hope that goes beyond the grave
A relationship with the God who created and cares for you
-
It starts with honesty and openness. There’s no perfect prayer or magic words. Just speak from the heart:
Admit your need for God—that you can’t do life alone.
Believe that Jesus died and rose again for you.
Invite Him into your life. Ask Him to lead you, guide you, and help you grow.
That’s faith—choosing to trust even when you don’t have all the answers yet.
-
Faith is a journey, not a finish line. And you’re not meant to walk it alone. Here are some simple first steps:
Talk to God regularly—He wants to hear from you. This is what we call prayer.
Start reading the Bible—it’s not just an old book; it’s living truth that speaks to real life. The Gospel of John is a great place to begin.
Connect with others—faith grows best in community. Find people who can walk with you, answer questions, and encourage you.
Keep going—there will be questions, and that’s okay. Faith grows one step at a time.
-
Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt, God sees you. He knows your story. And He’s not waiting for you to clean up your life—He’s inviting you to come as you are.
You were created on purpose, for a purpose. And this Good News? It’s for you.
If you want to learn more, ask questions, or talk to someone about beginning this journey with God, we’d love to walk with you. Reach out anytime. You are welcome here.
